You! Ventures LLC ("we," "us," "our") develops and operates a portfolio of AI-powered software platforms for businesses and consumers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you use any of our services (collectively, the "Services").

We take your privacy seriously. We don't sell your data. We collect only what we need to provide great software, and we are transparent about how we use it.

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Account registration: Name, email address, and password (hashed — we never store plaintext passwords)
• Profile information: Any additional details you choose to provide in your account
• Communications: Messages or inquiries you send to us
• Service-specific data: Content you create or submit while using our platforms (e.g., business records, financial entries, configurations)

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Server logs: IP addresses, request timestamps, and API endpoints accessed (retained 30 days)
• Error logs: Diagnostic data to identify and fix issues — does not include personal financial data
• Device & browser data: Browser type, operating system, and referral source
• Usage data: Features you interact with and general usage patterns (aggregated and anonymized)

2.3 Information from Third-Party Integrations

Some of our Services integrate with third-party providers (such as financial data aggregators, payment processors, or communication platforms) to deliver core functionality. Where we use such integrations:

• You authenticate directly with the third-party provider — we never see your credentials for external accounts
• We receive only the data necessary to provide the requested functionality
• Third-party providers operate under their own terms of service and privacy policies
• You can revoke third-party access at any time through your account settings or by contacting us

2.4 AI Processing

Our Services use artificial intelligence to provide features such as categorization, insights, and recommendations. Where AI processing occurs, we use anonymized or de-identified data where possible and do not send personally identifiable information to external AI providers beyond what is strictly necessary.

We do not sell your personal information. Period. We share information only in these limited circumstances:

4.1 Service Providers

We work with carefully selected third-party providers who assist us in operating our Services. These may include:

• Cloud hosting providers — to store and serve your data securely in the United States
• Financial data connectivity providers — to securely connect bank accounts where applicable (data shared only with your explicit authorization)
• AI model providers — for anonymized inference tasks that power our intelligent features
• Payment processors — for subscription billing (we do not store full card numbers)

All service providers are bound by data processing agreements and may only use your data to perform services on our behalf.

4.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or regulatory authority, or when necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of You! Ventures, our users, or the public. We will notify you of such requests where legally permitted.

4.3 Business Transfers

If You! Ventures is acquired, merges, or transfers substantially all of its assets, your data may transfer to the successor entity, which will be bound by this policy or a substantially similar one. We will notify users prior to such a transfer.

4.4 With Your Consent

We may share information with third parties when you explicitly authorize us to do so.

• Location: Data is stored on servers in the United States
• Encryption in transit: All data transmitted over HTTPS / TLS 1.2+
• Encryption at rest: Sensitive data fields receive application-level encryption in addition to filesystem-level protections
• Authentication: Passwords hashed with bcrypt; multi-factor authentication (TOTP) available where applicable
• Access control: Strict least-privilege access controls; no third party has direct database access
• Security monitoring: Continuous monitoring of our infrastructure and AI systems for anomalous activity

While no system is perfectly secure, we implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data. If a breach occurs that affects your rights, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

Our Services use only functional, necessary storage. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site behavioral analytics.

8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

• Right to Know: What personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell (we do not sell)
• Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information subject to legal exceptions
• Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell personal information — no opt-out needed
• Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights
• Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information
• Right to Limit Sensitive Data Use: We use sensitive personal data only to provide the Services

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

9. Texas Privacy Rights (TDPSA)

If you are a Texas resident, you have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (effective July 1, 2024):

• Access: Confirm whether we process your personal data and obtain a copy
• Correction: Correct inaccurate personal data
• Deletion: Delete personal data you provided or we collected about you
• Portability: Receive your data in a portable format
• Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell personal data
• Opt-Out of Targeted Advertising: We do not conduct targeted advertising

To exercise your Texas rights: Email privacy@youventures.ai with "Texas Privacy Request" in the subject. We respond within 45 days and do not charge for the first request per year.

Appeals: If we decline your request, you may appeal by emailing us with "Privacy Rights Appeal" in the subject. We respond to appeals within 60 days.

10. Children's Privacy & COPPA Compliance

10.1 Child-Directed Services

Some of our Services include educational games and activities designed for children to use under parental supervision. These child-directed Services operate under a parent-gated model:

• Only a parent or legal guardian may create an account, log in, and make purchases
• Children use the Services through their parent's or guardian's account and device
• We do not collect personal information directly from children — no child accounts, no child login, no child registration
• We do not require children to provide any personal information to use the child-directed features
• Game progress and preferences are stored locally on the device or under the parent's account — not linked to a child's identity

10.2 No Data Collection from Children

We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in applicable jurisdictions). Our child-directed Services are designed so that children can play and learn without providing any personal data.

10.3 Parental Rights

Parents and guardians have the right to:

• Review any data associated with their account that may relate to their child's use of the Services
• Delete their account and all associated data at any time
• Restrict their child's access by managing their own account settings
• Contact us at privacy@youventures.ai with any questions or concerns about their child's privacy

10.4 Age-Restricted Services

Certain of our Services that involve financial data, business operations, or security tools require users to be 18 years or older. These Services are entirely separate from our child-directed offerings.

10.5 Inadvertent Collection

If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately at privacy@youventures.ai.

11. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide our Services. Upon a deletion request:

• Account and profile data: deleted within 30 days
• User-generated content: deleted within 30 days
• Third-party integration tokens: revoked and deleted within 48 hours
• Server and error logs: deleted within 30 days of account deletion (90-day retention otherwise)
• Anonymized or aggregated data: may be retained indefinitely (contains no personal identifiers)

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page
• Notify active users by email at least 30 days before changes take effect (for material changes)

Your continued use of our Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
